Welcome to Spanish class at McKenzie School!  

First through fourth graders attend Spanish daily for 20 minutes and Kindergartners attend bi-weekly for 20 minutes. What can we accomplish in 2o minutes?!  Our lessons are taught completely in Spanish. English is used only occasionally to clarify an instruction, usually before an assessment. Our goal is communication, and students are encouraged to respond in Spanish when speaking. We have a lot of fun in class because we use all types of teaching tools to accommodate various learning styles. We sing songs, play games, move and dance, color, create, write, read stories, perform plays, produce videos, and so much more!
